August Maturo Q&A
August Maturo has been a star everyone has watched in young Hollywood today.
Why is that exactly? Because we know that he is going to be someone use one day, and he is already beginning to do that at just the age of 12.
You might know him as Auggie from the hit T.V show “Girl Meets World” as the son of Cory and Topanga; one of Hollywoods favorite T.V couples.
“Girl Meets World” is the famous remake, of “Boy Meets World” with it’s same original cast which we can’t love more. The show has sadly ended but the episodes that they gave us were heartwarming, family oriented, funny and also educational. August Maturo agrees.
We wanted to ask August Maturo a few questions about the show, his co-stars, some behind the scenes pictures, and a few details about him that we never would have guessed.
1.-What is something about yourself that nobody would know?
I was born during a lunar eclipse
2.-How would you describe working with Sabrina Carpenter & Rowan Blanchard in the TV show ‘Girl Meets World’? Funniest moment together?
Working with them is fun, they feel like my sisters. They always hug and cuddle me! It’s hard to pick a funniest moment. We always laugh on set every day
3.-What was the funniest moment you remember with your co-stars on ‘Girl Meets World’?
During Girl Meets Demolition, Ben Savage dressed up in funny clothes and we were laughing so hard during the scene. It was hard to keep a straight face.
4.-Tell us an embarrassing story you are ready to share with the world:
I’m not ready to share it yet! Lol
5.-What is the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?
Learning how to say sorry, and admit when you’re wrong about something. It’s important to always do that, and sometimes it’s really hard.
6.-What can you tell us about the upcoming ‘GMW’ episodes?
The new episodes are so much fun with great guest stars and amazing stories. I can’t wait for you to see them.
7.-What were your first thoughts after hearing that you would be working with the famous Topanga & Cory Matthews? (Danielle Fishel & Ben Savage)
I was a little scared at first, but then I just got excited!
8.-Show us your favorite photo that you took with co-stars that we haven’t yet seen:
This is a picture of us dancing when we were filming the new GMW opening credits.
9.-What is the best advice you’ve been given and from whom?
Michael Jacobs our producer. He told me if you try to be funny, it’s not funny. If you are yourself, you are funniest.
10.-What’s it like being a part of the Disney Channel family?
It feels really special. They always send me presents on my birthday and Christmas. They even send presents to my parents on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
11.-What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?
I’m proud of the good grades I get in school. I’m also proud to be a big brother.
12.-Has it been hard trying to re-do a famous classic like the show ‘Boy Meets World’?
Not really, we have the same producer, same writers, and the show has the same heart. We have more life lessons to teach people, and hopefully we make you laugh along the way.
